Arun Lal ex Captain of Indian Cricket Team Marries Bulbul Saha*

Arun Lal is my collegiate, St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. He's a few years senior to me and I think he was in the College during the period of 1972 -- 1975. He was Captain of St. Stephen's College cricket team. Needless to write about his brilliant cricket career, that we all know about ! Arun Lal often visited Doordarshan studios for commentary of cricket matches and expert comments. I often crossed him in the Auditorium Studio. He's a thorough gentleman with classy mannerisms. Arun was diagnosed of having jaw cancer which has kept him out of the commentary box since January 2016. His sports man's spirit made him fight the disease bravely. Arun Lal was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Cricket Association of Bengal on 3 August 2019. Arun Lal got married for the second time (first wife Reena) as the 67-years old tied the knot with Bulbul Saha on May 02, 2022, in Kolkata. Let's wish Arun Lal celestial blessings.
